History
The German-Romanian joint venture Resita - Renk S.A. Fabrica de Reductoare (the Heavy Duty Gear Boxes Plant), was established in 1973 having as partners the Romanian UCMR - a 200 years old mechanical engineering company and Renk AG of Augsburg (Germany) - a member of MAN Group of Companies. It is the first joint venture in the production field in Romania.
