IPROLAM is a Rolling Mill Design Institute established in 1959 by joining the design team for plate mills from IPROMET and the design for pipe mills from REPUBLICA Design Center.
The 43 years of participation to the projects in the metallurgic field from Romania and abroad, has transformated IPROLAM into one of the most experienced design institute in its field of activity.
Nowadays, IPROLAM is a private company belonging to UZIN GROUP family.
Range of products
Based on its more than 43 years of experience in the domestic and international market, the Company is fully qualified and able to provide design & engineering services and supporting supervisory services for the following areas :
Complete projects for Steel and non-ferrous metallurgy as "brand new" plants or under Modernization & Rehabilitation Schemes.

The top level of the work and technical capability for the provided services have induced that the Company got the Germanischer Lloyd's DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 Certificate for design & engineering of complete turn-key projects. The Romanian Certificates for Environmental studies form also an important part of their recognition in the respective field.
